Maison Flora Tristan
THE CLIENT
Founded in 1986, the Maison Flora Tristan (MFT) is a 1st and 2nd stage shelter in Montreal for women and children from all cultural communities who are victims of domestic violence.
THE CHALLENGE
Transform the MFT’s brand image and increase its online presence with the general public. In concrete terms, significantly increase the organization’s visibility among Quebec residents, particularly those in Montreal, Longueuil, and Laval, educate them about MFT’s offerings and services, and encourage them to break the silence and contact MFT staff.
THE SOLUTION
We first proceeded to analyze Maison Flora Tristan’s digital tools. We then developed a digital strategy to raise the organization’s profile and increase its online visibility. Following a deep-dive audit of the MFT’s website and social media platforms, we created a new sleek multilingual website, updated their social media accounts, and launched two successful digital marketing campaigns in the preceding months. Both French language campaigns served to reach out to women (Generation X and Y) from various cultural communities living in the Greater Montreal area. The objective was to create dynamic and informative content on social networks that would generate new leads, increase the number of subscribers to the MFT social media pages and newly revived newsletter, and stimulate growth in website traffic.

Expertise
“Michel pulled out all the stops to improve the organization’s online presence. First, he did a complete audit of our digital tools. The audit is a little-known and under-used tool. Based on the results, Michel identified priorities and proposed various solutions, including a new optimized website. He also integrated an innovative multilingual chatbot to extend our reach to women from different cultural communities directly related to our mission. Last but not least, Michel proposed and developed visibility campaigns that further increased La Maison’s visibility on various social networks.”
